Description

Inherited innovation. Short, shallow COG location. Pursuit of a "beautiful clubhead". The crown of the T.388 has a matte finish to emphasize contours and eliminate reflective glare. The compact head allows players to maximize concentration and inspires an image of a perfect trajectory. The driver has a shallow center of gravity from the face and positioned closer to the shaft line, enabling better control of the club head and a strong trajectory while minimizing back spin. The head naturally turns inwards to assist in creating a more square impact, improving smash factor and initial ball velocity. S-Yard's unique "Active Head Construction" absorbs dissipating forces from off-centered hits, reducing unnecessary movement at impact. The 15-3-3-3 titanium sole increases control and average ball velocity by 4%. The multi-integrated forged face has a rib spreading laterally from the center of the top portion, extending the effective hitting area and improving CT ratio of off-center area. An original Tour AD shaft, 65g (flex S), developed with Graphite Design Inc., eliminates unnecessary movement throughout the swing plane.
